Mental Health Coordinator
-
A certified Mental Health Professional and Artist who supports the ethical, authentic, and accurate portrayal of scenes/content involving heightened emotion or trauma. This can be used for anyone on production (cast, crew, and anyone on set ) requiring Mental Health First Aid (MHFA). This trauma-informed practice saves production money, mitigates delays, and supports Mental health on set. The stories we tell are "not real," but the bodies we use ARE!

Accurate Portrayal
Like Stunt Coordinators, Mental Health Coordinators undergo training to facilitate choreography, ensure safety, and act as a liaison between production and performers. My expertise extends from mental health first-aid + psychological first-aid to overseeing accurate portrayals of mental health challenges, addiction, loss, high-emotional content, violence, and supporting productions with minors and babies. This saves time and money and helps prevent HR complaints, all while prioritizing the well-being of individuals involved in the production process and ensuring an incredible storytelling product is captured on film.

Intimacy Coordinator
SAG-AFTRA says, “For a production company, an intimacy coordinator ensures the safety of personnel in hyper-exposed scenes, facilitates coordination between production departments to fulfill the director’s vision and helps to reduce financial, insurance or market-related risks, as well as avoid any unnecessary production delays.” [source]
My goal is to Capture the vision of the Director, ensure performers feel confident, step back when not needed, and step in where supportive. "I'm like water; I'll flow amongst the rocks (preferences) of your production company
